Takeshi's Castle

Takeshi's Castle was a Japanese game show that aired on the Tokyo Broadcasting System from 1986 and 1990. It featured Japanese actor Takeshi Kitano as a count who owns a castle and challenges players with severe obstacles to reach him. The television program has become a worldwide cult classic. On April2,2005, a special live "revival" was broadcast as part of TBS's 50th anniversary festivities.
