The Mole
The Mole is an Australian reality television show that aired on the Seven Network. It is like the series of shows called "The Mole," which have been shown in many countries. The Australian version of the show had a simple subtitle that asked, "Who is the traitor?" The show is a reality competition in which the contestants work together to add money to a pot that only one of them will win. The producers have given one of the contestants the name "the Mole," and that person's job is to stop the group from making money. His or her identity won't be revealed until the last episode of the show, when two real contestants take a quiz about the Mole. At the end of each episode, the contestant who scored the lowest on a quiz about who the mole is is taken out of the game. In the first four seasons, the show was hosted by actor Grant Bowler. In the fifth season, Bowler had another commitment, so presenter Tom Williams filled in for him. The first three seasons all took place in Australia, but the fourth and fifth seasons took place in New Caledonia and New Zealand, respectively. Mason Media Group put together the first season. David Mason was in charge of producing the second through fifth seasons of Seven. Fremantle Media Australia made the sixth season.
