Up the Women
It's 1910, and we're at the Banbury Intricate Craft Circle at Banbury church hall. Margaret has travelled to London and discovered the Women's Suffrage movement, so she decides they need to start their own, and The Banbury Intricate Craft Circle becomes the hilariously ineffective Banbury Intricate Craft Circle gently requests women's Suffrage. Gwen is the only member who appreciates the craft aspect of the meetings, whereas Helen believes it's useless, but she's not interested in women's rights: "What on earth do women need the right to vote for? My husband votes for whomever I instruct him to vote for. What greater method could there be?"
