What Would You Do?
A television news magazine and hidden camera show in the United States. Actors act out scenes of violence or unlawful activity in public places while concealed cameras record the action, with the emphasis on whether or not spectators interfere and how. Variations, such as changing the genders, races, or costumes of the actors performing the action, are often included to see how passersby respond differently. Quiones appears at the conclusion to question bystanders about their emotions. As the experiment progresses, psychology professors, teachers, or club members view and discuss the video with Quiones, explaining and drawing conclusions based on bystanders' reactions.
