Wilfred

The Australian television comedy series Wilfred is directed by Tony Rogers, produced by Jenny Livingston, and stars Jason Gann, Adam Zwar, and Cindy Waddingham. Based on their award-winning 2002 short film, it was created by Zwar, Gann, and Rogers and then adapted into a television series. The story follows Wilfred, his owner Sarah, and Sarah's boyfriend Adam, who sees Wilfred as a man in a dog suit. The first season was shown on SBS One in 2007, and the second in 2010. The series was nominated for a Logie and won three AFI Awards. In 2010, Independent Film Channel purchased the international broadcast rights to Wilfred's first two seasons. On June 23, 2011, a U.S. version debuted on the cable channel FX.
